About Me.
Originally from Palm Bay, Florida, I graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Social Science Education in 2010. While at FSU, I started as a business major thinking about becoming an accountant. I always enjoyed my elective and cultural classes better than accounting 101, etc. So I decided to switch majors to education and pursue a career in a subject matter that has always appealed to me.
After graduating I moved to North Carolina and found a job working in Durham Public Schools. In 2012 I started at Panther Creek High School teaching World History, US History, Civic/Economics, and also AP Human Geography. In 2016 my wife and I made the decision to move back to Tallahassee (>>--GO--NOLES-->) and I spent a year at West Gadsden High School teaching AP Human Geography (the greatest class since sliced bread) but also taking on AP Psychology and American History #Merica. Currently I am proud to be at Leon High School, one of the oldest public high schools in the state of Florida. I am teaching World History and coaching the JV boys basketball team.
Teaching has become the greatest learning experience I have ever embarked on.
I enjoy sports, fishing, music, biking, the outdoors, hanging out with my dog Buster, and of course spending time with my lovely, amazing, and talented wife.
